Much of our mental processes occur outside conscious awareness and control, but nevertheless influence our behavior systematically and predictably. Understanding the underlying mechanisms behind social stereotyping represents a first step towards overcoming implicit discrimination.

Mads Nordmo is a clinical psychologist, and PhD student at The Norwegian School of Economics. He studies moral psychology and moral decision-making, and has done clinical work with traumatized children and their families in Cape Town, South Africa. He is an award winning public speaker, giving lectures in a number of different topics, to private, public and charitable organizations.
