Anh Tran graduated from the University of Minnesota with degrees in neuroscience and psychology, during which time she co-founded Biology Without Borders. She then completed an M.Phil degree at Newcastle University-UK as a Fulbright Scholar, followed by a Centers for Disease Control research fellowship. She is currently a research associate at Daktari Diagnostics.
