Gerald W. Schlabach is a Christian social ethicist who teaches in the Theology department at the University of St. Thomas and former chair of Justice and Peace Studies there. In the 1980s he launched a regional peacebuilding project in Central America for Mennonite Central Committee. Currently a research scholar at the Collegeville Institute, he is writing a book on peace theology and Catholic social teaching.
